FORT BRUCIATO

 

 

Fort Bruciato, identical to its “twins” Scarato and Moglie, can be reached by  a road which branches left, a few hundred metres from Fort Tagliata and from the branch to Scarato, along State Road N° 542: Pontinvrea. The asphalt ends in the final part of the road, and it finishes in a plateau in part taken up by the fortification.

Today, Fort Bruciato, is inaccessable because it is completely fenced in and, it seems, is still under military administration, even though it is not used. The building still has some of its original elements such as its metal access door.
