GIOVO LIGURE DEFENCE

 

 

Giovo Ligure can be reached, from the Albissola Highway toll booth, by State Road N° 334: Sassello. The Fortified Giovo Defence is made up of various buildings, of which one functions as Tagliata (Fort Tagliata del Giovo), three “triplets” (Forts Scarato, Moglie and Bruciato), one principle and dominant (Fort Lodrino Inferiore) and one rienforcement (Lodrino Superiore Battery).
