FORT MOGLIE

 

 

From Tagliata del Giovo we drive down State Road No. 334: Sassello. On the left, near a sudden curve, we can see a parking lot, from which the path which allows us to reach Fort Moglie starts. The original access road is now private property.

The building is completely surrounded by the woods, and can be confused with these due to the fact that tall trees have grown near it. This, like Fort Bruciato, cannot be accessed because the access door has been cemented shut.

The internal structures are identical to those of Forts Scarato and Bruciato. We must highlight, however the presence of the original gratingsof the windows.
