ZUCCARELLO DEFENCE

 

 

The medieval bourgh of Zuccarello can be reached in a few minutes from Albenga, by driving down State Road N° 582: Colle di San Bernardo. The Zuccarello Defence, built between 1881 and 1897, is made up of four fortified edifices, of which only two remain in good condition.
